Art to Remember

Dear Central Parents,

On Monday of this week, we sent out reminder forms for ordering products from Art to Remember. They have over 60 products to choose from, all with your child’s artwork on it!  The flyer has your child’s individual code listed, so please use their code on the website: www.ArtToRemember.com.  If you have any questions for the company, please use their number: 1-800-895-8777, M-F, 8a-5p EST.  The deadline for ordering with free shipping to the school is TODAY, November 15th!  All proceeds go to the Central art department for specialty supplies and projects.  We truly appreciate your support of our art department!

If you’ve lost the order form with your child’s individual code, you can still order for them.  See our Central webpage link below and simply type in your child’s first and last name to see their artwork for ordering:

https://arttoremember.com/school/5FGXBX

You can still order past the deadline, just have it shipped directly to your house.

Epic 2024-2025

Purpose:

To allow the 6th graders to create a theme for the year that they define and own; to rise-up to the challenge of living out an EPIC year. This brings fun perks and benefits, yet also allows for growth in leadership.  EPIC is a wonderful way for our kids to live the creed and philosophy in a responsible, meaningful, and fun way!

This year’s EPIC WORDS are EMPOWERING, PROTECTIVE, INSPIRATIONAL and CREATIVE.  Wonderful words to live out this year.

EPIC NIGHTS are held from 6:30 – 8pm on the following Thursday evenings:

9/26

11/21

2/20

4/17

Any questions, please contact COACH KUYPER!

Viva Day

Spanish Viva Event: 6th grade,

Friday, April 5th 10:00-12:05

At the Viva Event, we will be celebrating all countries that speak Spanish.  Students are welcome to dress up as people from any Spanish speaking country.  Most people in Spanish and Latin American large cities wear clothes like in the U.S., but they do dress up in special traditional costumes on holidays and special occasions.  Pick a country. Wear something traditional, your favorite national soccer jersey top, or a woven poncho. Students may always choose to wear their regular uniform clothes instead of dressing up.

Sincerely,

CHRISTY MAGANA

Dear Sixth Grade Parents-

Have you been looking for ways to be involved at Central? We currently have a need for reading group parent help in our lower grades. If you miss helping during reading group time, please reach out to via email and I will help you get connected. Thank you for considering supporting the school.
